If you're talking to a teenager; cool Christmas Presents can take on a whole new meaning. Of course, most of them think we're dorks and don't know anything (I remember being like that.)

But this Christmas season you're going to show them that you do know what they have been wishing and hoping for (and they just might even admit that you're kinda cool, but don't count on it ;-)

Luckily, the younger kids in your life will be a little bit easier to find cool Christmas gifts for. They aren't as picky as teenagers, so enjoy it while you can.

We've got the top cool Christmas present picks here in each category. Here goes:

For Teenage Boys

RockBand Special Edition- This is a video game that is truly awesome (seriously, I'm a 35 year old woman and I love this game!) Teenage boys (and even the little kid in our husbands and boyfriends) are absolutely going nuts over this game.

Basically, you're a rock star and you and your band are going on tour. You can be the singer or the drummer or the guitar player, etc. You get the idea. Plus, more importantly, whatever you're not, you can have friends be. So you can set up your own real RockBand and go on tour.

Tell me you've never played air guitar in your living room jamming to Jimi Hendrix? Or that you've never played air drums driving in your car when the drum solo for "In the Air" by Phil Collins comes on? You can admit it, I won't tell besides I am a grammy award winning singer when I'm in the shower

My point being is that you could actually get some enjoyment out of this game along with your teenager. The video game comes in all shapes and sizes so to speak. You can buy just the video game by itself or you could buy the video game that includes all of the instruments that you'll need. Or you could buy RockBand or RockBand 2, etc. etc.

The prices vary depending on what version you are buying. You can get the RockBand video game anywhere from $47 to $190 and it's available for Xbox, Playstation and the Wii.

For Teenage Girls

The Kindle- Now this handy dandy little gadget is perfect for the teenage girl in your life that loves to read (or the grown woman in your life, of course.) This is what is known as a wireless reading device. Basically, what this means is that you can read a ton of books with this wireless reader while not actually having to have the physical book in your hand.

Wireless readers are a very cool Christmas present this holiday season and Oprah certainly helped make The Kindle a hot Christmas gift when she featured it on her show in late October.

I know The Kindle is a purchase you'd be making for your little girl but I want to tell you how it can help in different ways besides what it's actual use is for. Think Green. Can you imagine all of the paper (and trees) that you will be saving by utilizing a Kindle to do your reading instead of books and magazines themselves. It's truly amazing if we think about it for a minute.

Now onto money. Ok, I'll admit that the upfront cost of The Kindle may be a bit steep, but it will definitely pay for itself over time, not to mention it will certainly help the environment. The books that you buy for The Kindle are generally $9.99 or less and this is for New York Times Best Selling books not no name books that nobody cares to read. That is huge when you consider how much some best selling paperbacks or hardback books can run you nowadays.

The price for The Kindle is about $359 and you can usually get free shipping if you buy onlne.

For Younger Kids

Kid Tough Camera- This digital camera is absolutely awesome. It's from Fisher Price and it's literally built kid tough. You know how your little one is always grabbing your pricey digital camera or cell phone because they want to take pics and be like mommy and daddy? Then you get your phone or camera back all sticky and covered in slobber and sometimes even with a crack in it because they accidentally dropped it. I've been there, I think we all have. Those days are over because now little boys and little girls have their very own Kid Tough Camera that they can use (and get all sticky and slobbery and even drop.)

The Fisher Price Kid Tough Digital Camera comes in pink for girls and blue for boys. It has a viewfinder so your little one can see the picture before taking it plus it has dual grip handles so their little hands can actually handle it. Folks, this is a very functional digital camera for children. They can save pictures on the camera and certainly print them out from their home computer.

Prices vary from $48 to $190 depending on what version you get and if you get one that has extra goodies with it like camera case or a certain number of free photo prints, etc.

Alright that about sums up the top cool Christmas presents for kids in different age ranges this holiday season.
